Retro-Mod Line wheels are here!
Called Retro-Mod Line by fifteen52, these wheels will be unique in that we intend to define our own new niche in the aftermarket wheel landscape. Based on classic OEM designs from the '70s, '80s and '90s, our wheels will be offered in more modern sizes and offsets. Simply put, let's say you've got a classic 1983 Rabbit GTI that you've lovingly restored. Beyond a simple restoration you've also added updated it with various modern performance enhancements that include a decent set of brakes. You love the OE "Snowflake" wheels that came with your GTI, but there's just no way those little 14x6 rollers are going to fit over your big brakes. Add to that fact that small narrow wheels just don't fit with more modern styling trends, and it becomes clear you're going to have to find some new wheels. Yeah, you can always go with an aftermarket choice, but wouldn't it be cool if someone offered your wheel of choice in more modern sizing? Well, someone does - or at least someone will soon enough.
While single-piece cast aluminum wheels will be the main focus for our Retro-mod line, for the more extravagant owner we also intend to offer these very same designs in multi-piece construction.
In addition to classic VW and Audi designs, we also plan to work the Retro-Mod concept with other classic designs from other manufacturers such as BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, etc.
